Terroir & Production

Grown in the fertile Brahmaputra Valley of north-eastern India, Assam black tea owes its rich, malty character to a warm, humid climate and native large-leaf tea plants. The leaves are withered, rolled or mechanically processed, then fully oxidised and dried to develop their bold flavour and deep amber colour.
