Flowering tea FAQs

Are blooming teas good for you?

Blooming teas can be beneficial due to the antioxidants in the flowers and tea leaves. They provide a visually pleasing and relaxing experience, with potential health benefits varying by blend, contributing positively to overall well-being.

How long does flowering tea last?

Flowering tea is best enjoyed within ten minutes of brewing for the full flavor and aroma. While it can be re-steeped, the taste may become bitter over time. Freshly brewed tea offers the most vibrant experience.

What type of tea is blooming tea?

Blooming tea is a handcrafted Chinese tea made from green tea leaves sewn with flowers into a bundle. When steeped, it unfurls into a blooming display, combining visual appeal with the delicate flavors of green tea.

How many times can you use blooming tea?

Blooming tea can generally be re-steeped up to 2 times for smaller bulbs and up to 3 times for larger ones. Each steeping offers a slightly different flavor, gradually releasing its aroma and taste.

How to drink flowering tea?

To drink flowering tea, place the bundle in a clear teapot or glass cup and pour hot water (around 90°C) over it. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes, watching as it unfurls, creating a visual and aromatic spectacle.
