With its origins amidst the towering mountains of eastern China, our intensely refreshing Emperor’s Green begins its creation with beautifully delicate leaf buds plucked in spring.

Terroir & Production

In Jiangsu’s highland gardens, cool air, steady rainfall and fertile soil nurture the slow growth of tender leaves. Harvested in early spring, when flavour is at its most delicate, the leaves are hand rolled and pan fired in small batches to preserve their natural sweetness, and vegetal aroma.
