Collection: Rooibos Tea
Unique to South Africa, the rooibos shrub is grown only in the Cedarburg mountain area north of Cape Town. On drying, the fine needle-like rooibos leaves turn from green to coppery red, which gives it the name ‘rooibos’ from the Dutch for ‘red bush’. Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins, making it a perfect drink at any time of the day.
