Terroir & Production

This black tea originates from Fujian province, China, where tea gardens are shaped by mountainous terrain, cool air and mineral-rich soils. After handpicking, the leaves are traditionally withered and oxidised before being dried over pinewood fires, a method that defines this historic style. The finished tea is packed at Newby’s carbon neutral factory, preserving freshness and the integrity of its distinctive production character.
