About Gyokuro Boutique Pouch 100g
Indulge in the exquisite Gyokuro green tea, renowned as 'jade dew' in Japan. This prized tea boasts a subtly sweet profile with a gentle, mild finish.
Gyokuro is meticulously made from the first tender leaf buds of the spring harvest. These tea leaves are grown beneath shade covers, often using reed or straw screens, for a 20-day period before the harvest begins.
Following careful picking, the leaves undergo a gentle steam treatment to prevent oxidation. Subsequently, they undergo an initial rolling and air-drying process, followed by a precise final rolling to achieve their distinct shape and flavour.
