Terroir & Production

Tie Guan Yin (铁观音) originates from Fujian Province, China, a region renowned for its long tradition of tea cultivation. The leaves are carefully harvested, withered, gently rolled and partially oxidised to develop their distinctive character. This traditional process preserves the tea’s fresh floral qualities while creating greater depth and complexity. Fujian’s climate and mountainous landscape provide ideal growing conditions, helping produce Tie Guan Yin’s beautifully fragrant, smooth and naturally refined character.
