Description
This authentic Japanese kyusu, crafted in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, is renowned for its rich pottery tradition. Tokoname, one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, is famous for its high-quality handmade teaware.
The kyusu features an ergonomic, lightweight design with a perfectly angled spout and a 90-degree side handle for easy pouring. Its round shape and Tokoname’s unique ceramic mesh strainer, known as ceramesh, offer ample room for tea leaves to steep. The porous Tokoname clay reduces bitterness, enhancing the tea's delicate flavours.
