Terroir & Production

Grown near the village of Longjing in Zhejiang Province, this tea flourishes at elevations between 600 and 1,000 metres. Misty mornings, steady spring rains and granite-rich soil encourage slow, even leaf growth. Hand-plucked in early spring and pan-fired over gentle heat, the leaves develop their warm, toasted aroma that define this iconic Chinese green tea.
