Terroir & Production

This exceptional tea is crafted using premium tippy pekoe black tea from Assam, India, where fertile alluvial soils, humidity and warm temperatures support the development of fine tea leaves. The tea is carefully handpicked and traditionally processed before being blended with Kashmiri saffron sourced from Gulmarg, prized for its rarity and intensity. The saffron threads are selected for quality and purity, allowing their character to integrate naturally with the tea. The finished blend is packed at Newby’s carbon neutral factory to preserve freshness and integrity.
