About English Breakfast - 100 Tea Bags

Perhaps the classic British blend, English Breakfast’s origins are thought to lie in Scotland, where Queen Victoria enjoyed it while staying at Balmoral Castle. Enduringly popular to the present day, our English Breakfast is reviving and rich, with an unmistakably malty aroma and a citrusy tinge adding an edge to its robust character. Please note that for boxes of 100, the teabags are not individually wrapped. They are wrapped in 4 pouches of 25 teabags each.

Terroir & Production

This blend unites second flush Assam leaves, harvested in May and June when heat and humidity produce large, flavour-rich leaves, with high-grown Ceylon tea from the sunlit slopes of Sri Lanka’s central highlands. The Assam contributes malty depth and warmth, while the Ceylon adds clarity and a gentle aromatic lift. Together they produce a rich amber infusion that captures the harmony of two great tea regions and the enduring spirit of a true breakfast blend.
