This policy applies to the shipment of physical products purchased through newbyteas.com. Separate terms may apply for private events, tastings, or other experiences organised by Newby Teas and will be communicated where relevant.
2. Shipping Methods
Newby Teas works with trusted courier partners to deliver orders across the United Kingdom.
Available delivery options and applicable rates are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on location and delivery method selected.
3. Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details if you selected a tracked shipping method, allowing you to follow the progress of your delivery.
4. Delivery Information
Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery at the address provided.
We require a valid physical delivery address and cannot ship to PO Boxes.
5. Damaged or Missing Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, please contact customercare@newbyteas.com within 3 days of delivery, including your order number and photographs where possible. We will review the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
If your order has not arrived, please contact customercare@newbyteas.com. For deliveries sent via Royal Mail, please note that Royal Mail's policy requires 10 working days from the expected delivery date before a parcel can be officially declared lost. Other courier partners may have different investigation timeframes. Once the relevant investigation period has elapsed, we will work with the courier to investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.

Return Policy

1. Order Cancellations
Orders are processed promptly to ensure timely delivery.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at customercare@newbyteas.com, quoting your order number. We will make reasonable efforts to cancel your order, but cancellations cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun or the order has been dispatched.
If cancellation is successful, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 7 working days, although this may vary depending on your bank.
2. Your Right to Cancel
Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To exercise this right, please contact customercare@newbyteas.com within the 14-day period. Once your cancellation is confirmed, you must return the goods within 14 days.
Returned items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging where possible. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
3. Returns
To return an item purchased from Newby online, please email customercare@newbyteas.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
Please note that returns must be authorised in advance. We cannot accept returns that have not been approved.
Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at customercare@newbyteas.com and include:
- Your order number
- Details of the issue
- Photographs where possible
Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
5. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
- Opened tea products
- Perishable goods
- Items not returned in their original condition
- Items returned without prior authorisation
6. Refunds
Once returned items are received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 working days.
