Terroir & Production

The Cederberg’s rugged sandstone mountains, dry climate and coarse, sandy soil create the perfect environment for the Aspalathus linearis plant. Grown only in this region, the slender red leaves are harvested in summer, fermented and sun-dried under the open sky. Once prepared, they are carefully blended with orange peel to create a smooth, warming cup with gentle zest and natural sweetness.
