About Kan Junga Silken Pyramids

Taking its name from the majestic peak of mount Kangchenjunga, Kan-Junga tea hails from the Himalayas. A unique and complex blend with a sweet and floral flavour reminiscent of fresh mountain air, this unforgettable tea comes into its own when served within a silken pyramid. Multi-wrapped for a fresh finish, Kan-Junga’s packaging is inspired by the Chitra Collection, Newby Founder Mr. Sethia’s own display of rare antiquities and opulent tea wares.

Terroir & Production

The Kanchenjunga region’s tea gardens rise between 1,200 and 2,000 metres above sea level. Fed by glacial streams and nourished by mineral-rich soil layered with quartz and mica, the plants thrive in cool air and diffused sunlight. The slow growth at altitude intensifies the tea’s natural aroma, while careful handpicking and rolling preserve its delicate character, yielding one of the most elegant teas of the Himalayan foothills.
